Summary

In Fall 2025 I had the opportunity to co-op at Messer Construction, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joining the Pursuit Marketing team as a Graphic Designer, I collaborated on marketing proposals supporting new construction business development across Messer's 12 regional offices. Working alongside teams in Construction Safety, Virtual Design Construction, Operations, and Business Development gave me a unique perspective on how design functions inside a large scale organization. Messer's culture and the talent across that network made it one of the most memorable experiences of my co-op career.

2024 Global Design Awards

SEGD's yearly Global Design Awards have set the standard of excellence for experiential design, honoring work that connects people to place. I collaborated with the team to help put the digital experience together.

Marketing Redesigns

Redesigned event forms, posters, and banners for SEGD in Adobe Creative Cloud, one design was presented to graduating students at Latvia Art Academy.

Key Takeaways

  • I approach networking as a way to build meaningful, lasting connections, not just professional contacts. I believe the strongest collaborations are built on genuine relationships, and I strive to create bonds that people remember. This mindset has helped me grow as a designer and as a teammate.

  • My design philosophy is rooted in precision. I believe attention to detail isn’t just a skill, it’s a mindset. Whether crafting interfaces or shaping experiences, I critically apply this principle to ensure every element serves a purpose.

  • Design isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making them work beautifully. I believe aesthetics should serve function, not distract from it. Every choice I make in my design process is intentional, driven by clarity, usability, and impact. Purposeful creation is what transforms good design into great experiences.
